"I'm willing to do anything once"

People seem to underestimate how easy it is to get me hooked on something. Weather it be collecting records, practicing trumpet, or even the idea of getting dorm cats. It doesn't take much at all if we're being real. You just have to present the idea to me in a way that seems logical, with little to no consequences. When its at that stage its not that big of a deal, but in my life it rarely stays at the "Harmless" stage. That's when it becomes a problem. I find it incredibly hard to avoid this occurrence as well.  Of course I could surround myself with harmless people who always seem to do right, the "Pastor Dave's" but I find that life incredibly boring. No offense to anyone who lives that life of course. So what can I do? I've pondered this before and so I made a standard of things I would never under any circumstance do, but with "Pressure and Time" you'd be amazed how much the standard has changed. I don't believe that one thing leads to the next. That's just giving the items themselves to much credit for the mistakes that you have made, but in the words of Dave "After you've done one thing, does it seem like less of a big deal to do others?" When he presented that to me I could only respond with of course not, but when I ponder these thoughts and really think about it, it really challenged me to think about what morals were in the first place. I think that our morals are a steady changing thing. You cant premeditate your morals, because in any given situation you could disappoint yourself and think you're a failure, but in reality you only failed the moral standard that you gave yourself. I guess what I'm saying is... live life? Go explore do something that's wrong in the eyes of others. I mean dont go kill someone, but if one of your bros is like hey wanna try something that is borderline "not okay" why not? yeah there could be consequences, but be smart! I guess its appropriate to say "Yolo". In the words of one of my favorite coaches ever "I'm willing to do anything once!"
